About the project

Our main motivation in this project is to draw students’ and people’s attention on the issue of Climate change and put forward one of the less known ways to reduce our (human) impact on this matter. Therefore the main topic will be the maintenance and repair of natural environments all areas across all Europe.

The results of an enquiry about Natura 2000 to the general public showed that only 25% of people had heard about it and only 15 % could explain it! With 4 partners across all Europe, this project will allow us to conduct training sessions covering 4 of the main ecosystems in Europe: Atlantic, Borel, Alpine and Continental Bio-geographical Region.

Beside this, each host country will organize visits based on the goals of the green agreement such as farm to fork strategy, short circuit market, food picking in the forest, organic farming and community gardens.

Other strategies will also be put forward, such as getting to know projects that promote biodiversity in urban spaces.
